Create your wallet

Open MetaMask and tap "Create a new wallet." Set a password you'll remember.

Save your recovery phrase MetaMask will show you 12 words. This is your backup key — write them down on paper and keep them somewhere safe.

Never share them with anyone. BlockChain Radio will never ask for them. No legitimate service ever will.

Add ETH to Your Wallet

ETH is the currency used on the Ethereum blockchain. You'll need a small amount to get your access pass.

In MetaMask, click the "Buy" button. You can purchase ETH with your debit card or bank account right inside the app.

We recommend buying about $20 worth of ETH. Your access pass costs about $10, plus a small network processing fee.

About identity verification The payment provider will ask you to verify your identity — your name, date of birth, and possibly your Social Security Number. This is completely normal.

It's required by U.S. federal law, the same rules that apply to banks, Venmo, and Cash App.

This information goes to the payment provider only — not to MetaMask or BlockChain Radio. We never see it. Verification usually takes just a few minutes.

Get Your Access Pass

  2. Click "Connect Wallet" — MetaMask will pop up, click "Connect"
  3. Click "Mint" — MetaMask will show the total cost, click "Confirm"
  4. Wait about 30 seconds. That's it!
